Does Greenway Co-op accept pets?

Members are permitted a maximum of 2 four legged animals per unit, one of which may be a dog.  Exotic pets are not permitted.  Cats must be indoor only.  Dogs must be leashed while on the property and are not permitted to defecate/urinate on the property.

How does the application process work?

Fill out an application and sent it to us,.  Send us an updated application every 6 months to keep your application active.  Once a unit becomes available, we go through the applications and select applicants to interview.  We come to your home and meet with you and your family.  You will be notified if you are selected and at that point you can come and view the unit.

Do you have any wheelchair accessible units?

We have 2 wheelchair accessible units, one unit is equipped with a walk in shower and lowered counters.

How much is the share fee?

The currently cost of Greenway Co-op's shares is $3,000

Are there washers, dryers and dishwashers at Greenway?

Greenway does not provide washer, dryers or dishwashers, but there are hook ups for them.  You must make sure you have insurance coverage to cover these items.

What does subsidy mean?

Greenway has 8 units that are available to be subsidized.  This means you qualify through BC Housing for subsidy.  You pay a portion of your rent and BC Housing pays the rest.
